Meta Muse for Small Business is Meta’s push to turn its Muse AI agent into a helper for running a small company. Announced September 29, 2026, it lets you give Muse a goal, connect the tools you already use, and let it work. Here is what it connects to, what it costs, and the one catch.

What Muse for Small Business is
It isn’t a separate app. Meta calls it “a collection of new skills and connectors inside Muse,” the personal AI agent it launched earlier in September in the US and Canada. According to Meta’s announcement, Muse can:
- Read your Meta business accounts. It connects to Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts, so it starts out knowing what you sell and what customers ask about.
- Work with your other tools. Named connectors include Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom. Custom connectors cover services Meta doesn’t support yet.
- Wait for your approval. Meta says “nothing publishes, sends, or spends without your approval.”
One prompt Meta suggests trying: “Analyze this year’s sales, campaigns, and social and make me a growth plan to meet my business goals for next year.”
How much Meta Muse costs
Meta says Muse is “free for most of what people need.” The business skills come with the regular Muse plans. Meta’s Muse subscriptions help page lists:
- Free: a usage limit that refreshes. When you hit it, you wait or upgrade.
- Power plan: $20 a month for 500M Muse tokens per week.
- Maximum plan: $100 a month for 3B Muse tokens per week.
These are the prices at the moment we wrote this post (October 9, 2026). The price may have changed by the time you read it, so check Meta’s help page for today’s price.
Paid plans renew monthly on your purchase date. Meta says Muse and its subscriptions are still in limited testing and not available in all locations.
The downside: you can’t predict how far the free limit goes
Usage is counted in Muse tokens, not tasks. Meta doesn’t publish how many tokens the free plan gets, or how many tokens a typical job like a sales review uses. A long run across Shopify, QuickBooks and your ad account uses more than a quick question, so you learn where the limit is by hitting it. Meta’s VP of AI products Vishal Shah told Axios that a business relying on it heavily “might hit some of these limits.”
Who should try it
- Owners who already run sales and ads through Instagram, Facebook and Shopify and want one place to ask questions about all of it
- Small teams that want a first draft of a campaign or a weekly summary, and are happy to approve each action
Muse is one of several agents that do real work across your tools. Our look at Grok Bot as an ops assistant covers another. Before any paid plan, read our guide to finding the cancel button first, and see the tools page for more options.
