Summary

Quick verdict: an ambitious “show it once, let it run” desktop automation app that costs nothing today. Nobody outside the company knows what it will cost after the beta.

  • The homepage headline is “Automate Everything”: “IrisGo watches how you work, learns your skills, and runs your workflows autonomously, like your AI Butler.”
  • Its main feature is Watch & Learn: you show IrisGo a workflow once, it records the steps and turns them into a skill that runs on its own.
  • On October 7, 2026 the company launched “IrisGo for Solopreneurs” on Product Hunt. The press release lists four starter workflows: Daily Brief & Radar, Email Triage, Meeting Summary and Expense Report Filing.
  • The download page says “Free during public beta”. It offers IrisGo Beta for macOS (Apple Silicon, DMG, v0.2.7 as of October 10, 2026) and a Windows 64-bit installer.
  • The homepage says it is backed by Andrew Ng’s AI Fund and partners, and lists Intel, Acer and Windows as ecosystem partners. The site footer names Irixion Corp.
  • Honesty note: we have not installed IrisGo. Everything here comes from irisgo.ai, checked October 8, 2026 and re-checked October 10, 2026.

Features

From irisgo.ai and the October 7, 2026 press release. Described, not tested.

  • Watch & Learn: show IrisGo a workflow once. It records it and turns it into an “autonomous skill”.
  • Watch, Learn, Act: the How It Works section says IrisGo watches “across screens, apps, and systems”, turns behavior into reusable workflows, then runs them on events and across tools.
  • Skill Library: ready-made community workflows you can import and adjust. Examples on the homepage include Email Triage, Lead Scoring, Report Builder, Meeting Notes, Invoice Processing and PR Review.
  • Local compute: “AIPC-Ready” means it can use your PC’s NPU and GPU for “private, fast inference”. The press release says it processes data on your device, with cloud backup to sync workflows across machines.
  • Solopreneur workflows (Oct 7): Daily Brief & Radar (top three priorities each morning), Email Triage, Meeting Summary with action items, and Expense Report Filing.

Who it’s for

  • A solopreneur or freelancer who repeats the same desk tasks every day and wants to try automating them for free.
  • People on Windows or an Apple Silicon Mac. Those are the two downloads offered.
  • Someone comfortable letting an app watch their screen and apps. That is how IrisGo learns, so read its Privacy and AI Policy pages first.
  • Not for you if you need to budget the tool for next year, or need Linux. Neither is covered on the site.

The catch

It is free only “during public beta”, and there is no price for afterward.

  • The download page says “Free during public beta” and gives no end date.
  • The site has no pricing page and no paid plan list, so you cannot know what the workflows you build will cost to keep running.
  • The more of your routine you teach it, the harder it is to walk away if the post-beta price does not suit you.

Verdict

  • Try it on one or two low-risk, repetitive tasks, like a morning brief, while it is free.
  • Do not move a business-critical process onto it until IrisGo publishes prices and the app leaves beta (the Mac build was v0.2.7 on October 10).

Worth trying if: you want to test “teach it once” automation for free on Windows or an Apple Silicon Mac.

Skip it for now if: you need a known price, or you are not comfortable with an app observing your screen and apps.

Not tested hands-on. New launches change fast: we will re-check the official pages and update this review. No tool can promise results.
