Klaviyo Composer is Klaviyo’s AI marketing agent, and as of October 13, 2026 it is available to every Klaviyo customer. It reads your customer, marketing and commerce data with visible citations, can run scheduled tasks in the cloud, and lets teams save reusable Skills. Here is what it does, what the credits cost, and the one catch.

What Klaviyo Composer does
Per Klaviyo’s Composer launch post (Elias Torres, October 13, 2026), Composer analyzes customer, marketing and commerce data and shows citations for what it used. It also compares results with industry benchmarks from more than 205,000 customers.
Two features stand out:
- Scheduled tasks run in the cloud 24/7 even when you are not logged in.
- Skills let you teach Composer a team process once and reuse it across teams, brands or markets.
Launch examples include weekly flow reviews, monthly lifecycle checks, segment ideas from 12 months of purchase history, and audits of live flows for expired coupons or broken links.
Klaviyo Composer pricing and credits
Klaviyo’s Composer plan help article (updated October 14, 2026) lists:
- Free: 500 credits per cycle, automatic for every Klaviyo customer, no signup or card. Not a 30-day trial; credits reset each billing or usage cycle.
- Paid: $20/month for 2,000 credits (4× free).
- Credits do not roll over. Support and general-information questions are free.
- Paid flexible overages add 1,000 credits in $10 increments. On free, credit-using actions stop at 100% until upgrade or reset.
Action cost estimates (they draw from plan credits; usage is dynamic):
- Analyze data: $0.35–$0.90
- Audit SMS: $0.25–$1.80
- Audit segment: $0.30–$1.30
- Audit flow / form / template: $0.10–$4.50
- Audit campaign: $0.10–$0.50
- Create campaign: $0.10–$10.00
- Analyze / auto-reply Social: $0.00–$0.80
Price at the time of writing this post (October 15, 2026): free plan 500 credits/cycle; paid Composer plan $20/month for 2,000 credits. If you’re reading this at a later date, the price may have changed.
The catch: opaque credits that do not roll over
Credits are opaque before you run an action: no exact cost is shown beforehand, leftover capacity does not roll over, and heavy audits or campaign creation can burn through the free 500 credits quickly. That’s the catch.
Is it worth trying?
If you already use Klaviyo, Composer comes with 500 free credits each cycle, so a light weekly flow review is an easy test. Heavy audits and campaign creation burn that pool fastest. For more notes, see our tools directory, the Typeform AI landing page builder post, or Meta Muse for Small Business.
