Summary

Quick verdict: a full course-and-coaching business in one login, with no cut of your sales, but the door price is $179 a month and the cheapest plan is still tightly capped.

  • Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for people who sell what they know: courses, coaching, communities, funnels, landing pages, email and checkout.
  • There is no free plan. Basic is $179 a month, or $143 a month billed yearly. Growth is $249 or $199. Pro is $499 or $399.
  • Every plan lists unlimited landing pages, funnels and marketing emails. Products, contacts, websites and communities are capped by plan.
  • Kajabi does not take a revenue share. You still pay card fees: 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic if you use Kajabi Payments in the US.
  • Kajabi’s own FAQ says Basic is for people who have not sold anything yet, Growth once revenue is coming in, and Pro for more than one brand or your own app.
  • Honesty note: this is a pricing-page review. We have not built a course on Kajabi. Every number comes from kajabi.com/pricing, checked October 8, 2026 and re-checked October 10, 2026.

Price snapshot: Price at the time of writing this review (October 10, 2026): Basic $179/month ($143/month billed yearly), Growth $249 ($199), Pro $499 ($399). If you’re reading this at a later date, the price may have changed.

  • The Annual cards label the savings “Save $432/year”, “Save $600/year” and “Save $1,200/year”. That matches 12 × the monthly price minus 12 × the yearly rate. The toggle says “Save 20%”.
  • Growth is badged “Most popular” on Kajabi’s own Annual and Monthly cards. That is their label, not our rating.
  • No revenue share. The FAQ says Kajabi does not take a cut of what you earn. Card processing is separate.
  • Kajabi Payments, US entities only, as printed: 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth, 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. The page says fees differ by country.
  • If Kajabi Payments is offered where you are and you use another processor instead: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro. The note says this excludes PayPal and Kajabi Payments, and the processor can add its own fees. Where Kajabi Payments is not offered, the FAQ says there is no extra Kajabi processing fee.
  • Extra contacts: the FAQ says contacts come in blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month, on any plan.
  • AI credits are 0 / 500 / 1,000. The footnote says you can purchase $15/mo for 500 AI credits, and that one-time top-up purchases are “coming end of cycle”. The “AI Features” row is checked on every plan, including Basic, which lists 0 credits.
  • Trial and refunds: the pricing FAQ says that when a trial ends you move onto the plan you chose, and that every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel later.
  • Free trial: Kajabi now offers a 14-day free trial, backed by the 30-day money-back guarantee. The earlier Business Launch Kit offer ended October 13, 2026. When the trial ends you move onto the plan you picked unless you cancel, so choose the plan before you start.

What a year costs (our math)

PlanMonthly × 12Billed yearlyYou save
Basic$179 × 12 = $2,148$143 × 12 = $1,716$432
Growth$249 × 12 = $2,988$199 × 12 = $2,388$600
Pro$499 × 12 = $5,988$399 × 12 = $4,788$1,200
  • Yearly billing is paid up front. Basic yearly is $1,716 before tax, not $143.
  • Per 1,000 contacts at the plan’s contact cap, monthly billing: Basic $179 ÷ 2.5 = $71.60. Growth $249 ÷ 25 = $9.96. Pro $499 ÷ 100 = $4.99. Growth and Pro look cheaper per contact only if you actually fill the list.
  • A second block of 25,000 contacts is +$125/month on top of the plan. On Growth monthly that is $249 + $125 = $374 for up to 50,000 contacts.

Features

From the official comparison table, in plan order Basic / Growth / Pro. A check on the page is “Yes” here. A cross is “No”.

  • Products: 5 / 50 / unlimited. The plan cards list the same numbers.
  • Contacts: 2,500 / 25,000 / 100,000. Access groups are unlimited on every plan.
  • Sites: websites 1 / 1 / 3. Communities 1 / 1 / 3. Landing pages, funnels and marketing emails are unlimited on all three.
  • Admin users: 2 / 11 / 26.
  • On every plan: Kajabi Customer App, video transcriptions and translations, custom domain, checkout pages, payment integrations, third-party integrations, AI features (see the credit cap), and universal inbox.
  • Growth and Pro, not Basic: cohort courses, affiliate programs, advanced automations, webhooks, comment-to-DM, and remove Kajabi branding.
  • Pro only: custom code editor. Branded mobile app is listed as “Included ($199/mo value)”. API is listed as “Included ($25/mo value)”. Both are a cross on Basic and Growth.
  • AI row, read the footnote: Backstage is checked on all three plans, with a note that limits and pricing are to be determined. Expert Agents is labeled “Coming soon” and is also checked on all three. Do not budget as if those are finished products with a published price.
  • Payments: Kajabi Payments rates and third-party processor fees are in the pricing section. The FAQ says there is no platform revenue share.

Who it’s for

  • A coach or course creator who already sells and wants the website, email, funnels, community and checkout in one login, and is fine paying at least $143 a month billed yearly.
  • Someone under 5 products and 2,500 contacts who does not need an affiliate program or advanced automations: Basic is the plan Kajabi’s FAQ points you to if you have not sold anything yet.
  • A list past a few thousand people, or a need for automations, webhooks, your own affiliate program, or no Kajabi branding: Growth. That is also what Kajabi’s FAQ says once revenue is coming in.
  • More than one brand, three websites, or a branded app in the stores: Pro. The FAQ says Pro is for that.
  • Not for you if you need to try the whole thing for $0, or if 5 products and 2,500 contacts is already too small and $249 a month is too much. A free all-in-one exists. See our Systeme.io review.

The catch

There is no free plan, and the cheapest plan is still a small box.

  • Basic is $179 a month, or $143 a month if you pay $1,716 for the year up front.
  • That plan allows 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community and 2 admins. AI credits on Basic are 0.
  • Running your own affiliate program, advanced automations, webhooks and removing Kajabi branding all start on Growth, at $249 a month or $199 billed yearly.
  • If 5 products or 2,500 contacts is not enough, the real starting price is Growth, not the $143 figure in the ads.

Verdict

  • Basic ($179/month or $143/month billed yearly): only if you fit inside 5 products and 2,500 contacts and you do not need automations, an affiliate program, or the branding removed.
  • Growth ($249/month or $199 billed yearly): the plan that matches a working course business. It is also the plan Kajabi marks “Most popular”.
  • Pro ($499/month or $399 billed yearly): three websites, three communities, a branded app, the API and a custom code editor. Skip it until you need one of those.
  • Do not start the 14-day trial without knowing which plan it turns into, and cancel before it ends if Kajabi is not a fit. Every plan also has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Worth it if: you already earn from courses or coaching, you want one paid stack instead of several tools, and no revenue share matters more to you than a low monthly price.

Skip it if: you are still testing whether anyone will buy, or you need a free plan. Start with Systeme.io, which has a free plan, and come back to Kajabi when the list and the revenue are real.
