New launch, not tested hands-on. Navige (“Cut AI agent costs and control runaway spending”) was #2 on the Product Hunt daily leaderboard on October 15, 2026, and its homepage says “We’re out of stealth”. Everything below comes from navige.ai. We have not routed any agent traffic through it.

No affiliate program found. navige.ai/affiliate, /affiliates, /partners and /referral all returned 404 on October 15, 2026, and the site has no affiliate link. Every link on this page goes to the official site and earns us nothing.

Summary

Quick verdict: a smart idea with honest pricing: start on the free Watchtower report, and only switch savings on if the number is worth it. Built for teams spending real money on AI agents or model APIs, not for ChatGPT subscribers.

  • Sits between your agents and the models and tools they pay for; you point your SDK’s base URL at Navige or wrap your client.
  • Four levers: cache and reuse verified answers, trim context and cap tool payloads, block loops and repeated failures, route steps to a smaller model when it is enough.
  • Watchtower (free, no card, no time limit) only watches and sends a weekly cost and savings report.
  • Switched on, you pay $9 in a month it saves you under $45, otherwise 20% of what it saved ($1 of every $5). Never both.
  • Works with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents, MCP and Agentforce, and with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, AWS Bedrock, Mistral and Meta Llama models.

  • No seats, no setup fee, no per-agent fees and, the page says, no mark-up on tokens; you keep paying your model providers directly.
  • Example from the page: if Navige saves you $200 in a month, it charges $40 and you keep $160.
  • Cancel any time and you drop back to Watchtower; the console and past invoices stay readable.
  • If it saves you nothing in a month while switched on, you still pay the $9 minimum (FAQ).

Features

From navige.ai and navige.ai/pricing, October 15, 2026. Described, not tested.

  • Cache and reuse: reuse a verified answer while it is still valid instead of paying for another model or tool call.
  • Context trimming and tool payload capping: cut oversized tool results and old history before the next request.
  • Loop and failure guard: block repeated failures and runaway jobs before they add to the bill.
  • Smart routing: pick a smaller model for simple steps and keep your chosen model when unsure.
  • Budgets and approvals: set budgets, catch runaway loops and approve sensitive actions (Product Hunt listing).
  • Measured, not guessed: the homepage says it leaves a slice of jobs untouched to compare, and reports a cheaper step that got worse as a failure.
  • Sufficiency calculator: an illustrative estimate of overspend on the homepage, clearly labelled as not a savings claim.
  • Data: the FAQ says your data is not used to train models and is never sold.

Who it’s for

  • Startups and teams running AI agents in production with a monthly model and tool bill.
  • Developers using LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents or MCP who want savings without rewriting prompts.
  • Finance or ops leads who want a weekly view of what each agent costs.
  • Not for you if you only use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini through a flat monthly subscription; there is no API bill to cut.

The catch

Your agent traffic runs through Navige’s servers.

  • It is a proxy: every model call passes through a new company’s infrastructure. Check the DPA and security docs before you send production data.
  • Once switched on there is a $9 monthly minimum, even in a month it saves you nothing.
  • Savings depend on your workload; the homepage says repetitive work saves the most and complex work the least.
  • Enterprise and organisation pricing is not published.
  • We have not measured savings, latency or answer quality.

Verdict

  • Watchtower ($0): no-risk first step; connect your agents and read a few weekly reports.
  • Switch on ($9 minimum or 20% of savings): worth it once Watchtower shows savings well above $45 a month.
  • Organisation: talk to sales; terms are not public.

Worth trying if: your agents spend hundreds of dollars a month on model and tool calls and you suspect loops, repeat calls or oversized models.

Skip it if: your AI spend is a few seat subscriptions, or you cannot route production traffic through a third-party proxy.

Navige FAQ

How much does Navige cost?

As of October 15, 2026, Navige’s Watchtower report is free forever. If you switch savings on, you pay $9 in months it saves you under $45, otherwise 20% of what it saved, never both. Check navige.ai/pricing for today’s price.

What is the main downside of Navige?

It works as a proxy, so your agent traffic passes through Navige’s infrastructure, and once switched on there is a $9 monthly minimum even if it saves nothing.
