Summary

Quick verdict: a fair price if you already work in Next.js and launch more than one product, because $199 once covers unlimited projects. It is source code you host and maintain yourself, sales are generally non-refundable, and it comes from a very small seller.

  • A production-ready Next.js SaaS starter: authentication, payments and subscriptions, database setup, transactional emails, a landing page, a waitlist and account pages are already wired together.
  • The homepage shows the stack: Next.js, Tailwind, email and Google login, Stripe or Lemon Squeezy checkout, Nodemailer emails and Prisma for the database.
  • One purchase, $199 (list price $299), with lifetime updates and unlimited projects, including commercial ones.
  • You get the code, not a hosted service: hosting, domain, email sending and payment fees are your own costs.
  • It is built to work with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, which get a real codebase as context.
  • Oktoprism says “89 makers” use it; support is by email (a Gmail address) or the site’s contact form.

  • The homepage banner said “$100 off for the next 50 customers (11 left)” when we checked; the price dropped from $249 (list $349) to $199 (list $299) between October 20 and 21, 2026, and was still $199 on October 22; the banner was unchanged then. The $199 price may go back up.
  • The license page describes a Personal License (one person) and a Team License (share the code with your team). The homepage shows one price and does not say which license it is, so ask before buying for a team.
  • Refunds: the terms say purchases are “generally non-refundable once access has been granted”.
  • You may sell products built with it, but not resell the starter itself or publish its source code.

Features

From oktoprism.com, its FAQ and its license page, October 19, 2026. Described, not tested.

  • Authentication: sign up, sign in, email verification, forgot and reset password, with email and Google login.
  • Payments and subscriptions: pricing page with checkout, plus a subscription page showing plan, renewal and billing.
  • Database and roles: production database setup and role-based access control.
  • Waitlist: collect emails from the landing page before launch; an admin-only page filters them and exports to Excel/CSV.
  • Landing page and UI: the same landing page you see on oktoprism.com, plus reusable components.
  • Support pages: help center FAQ and a contact form that sends to your inbox.
  • Emails and SEO: transactional emails and SEO metadata setup.
  • License: unlimited personal and commercial projects; no “Built with Oktoprism” badge required.

Who it’s for

  • Indie hackers and freelancers who already know Next.js and launch several small products.
  • Founders validating an idea who want a waitlist live before the product exists.
  • AI-assisted developers who want Cursor or Claude Code to start from a structured codebase instead of a blank folder.
  • Not for you if you do not code: Oktoprism says you should be comfortable working in a Next.js codebase. A no-code builder fits better.

The catch

It is code from a very small seller, and you pay up front with no normal refund.

  • Sales are “generally non-refundable once access has been granted” (terms, Sept 22, 2026).
  • Support is a Gmail address and a contact form; the terms are governed by Moroccan law. We found no company name on the site.
  • You host, secure and update the app yourself; the license disclaims any warranty.
  • The “11 left” discount counter is a countdown we cannot verify.
  • The homepage does not say whether $199 buys the Personal or the Team license.
  • We have not seen the code, so we cannot judge its quality.

Verdict

  • Buy it if you know Next.js and will launch two or more products; the per-project cost drops fast.
  • Ask first about the Team License and updates if several developers will use it.
  • Skip it if you want a hosted no-code builder or a refund guarantee.

Worth trying if: you build SaaS products in Next.js and want sign-up, payments, emails and a waitlist done on day one.

Skip it if: you do not code, need a refund window, or want a company with a support team behind the product.
