Short answer (November 5, 2026): Cledara Agent is an AI add-on that signs into SaaS and AI tools and does admin with your approval: invoices, new starters, unused seats and leavers. It works with 8,000+ tools; the catch is that each Agent job costs £200 a month on top of any Cledara plan.
Cledara announced it on November 5, 2026 in a post by co-founder Brad van Leeuwen. Here's what it does, what it costs, and the catch.

What Cledara Agent does
You switch on the jobs you want. Cledara lists four:
- Invoices. Overnight, it signs into each vendor's billing page, downloads invoices and matches them to payments. Matched invoices can sync to Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Tripletex.
- New starters. It connects to HR systems such as BambooHR, HiBob, Personio and 30+ others, suggests tools for the team and invites people once you approve.
- Unused seats. It flags paid seats nobody is using and removes them when approved.
- Leavers. With one approval (or a standing auto-approval), it removes someone from every connected tool.
Named examples include Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Figma, Notion, GitHub, Cursor and Claude. Cledara says Agent is the only SaaS management agent verified by Cloudflare, passwords sit in a vault the AI never sees, and Cledara is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant. Nothing happens without approval unless you set a standing approval for routine jobs; it will not change account settings or add a paid seat without asking.
What it costs
On the Cledara pricing page (prices in GBP as listed):
| Plan / add-on | Monthly price |
|---|---|
| Basic | £75/mo |
| Premium | £200/mo |
| Pro | from £500/mo |
| Agent: Invoice Collection | £200/mo |
| Agent: User Management | £200/mo |
Agent is an add-on to any plan. Add one job or both; the price is the same monthly or yearly. Customers can add it today; non-customers can look at Agent or book a demo.
For related finance tooling, see QuickBooks AI invoicing, the Xero Gemini integration and HubSpot AI spend caps, or browse the tools directory.
The catch: each Agent job is £200/mo extra
Invoice Collection and User Management are each £200 a month on top of the base plan. Basic alone is already £75 a month, so both Agent jobs add £400 a month. That is a concrete cost before you count the trust tradeoff of authorizing a bot to log into connected SaaS tools (mitigated by approval and Cloudflare verification, but still a tradeoff).
Who should try it
Finance and ops teams already on Cledara that chase invoices or clean joiners and leavers get the clearest win. If you only need light tool visibility, the add-on may cost more than it saves.
